UIA launches flights between Kyiv and Baku

Ukraine International Airlines (UIA, Kyiv) from February 13, 2013 has started performing direct regular flights on the Kyiv-Baku-Kyiv route, the airline's press service has reported.

The press service said that from February 13 to March 28, 2013 the flights will be performed three times a week: on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. From April 2, 2013 their frequency will grow to four times a week and from June 22, 2013 – to five times a week: from Kyiv to Baku on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and from Baku to Kyiv – on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Boeing 737 with business and economy class seats will be used to perform the flights.

Ukraine International Airlines was founded in 1992. Its fleet consists of 21 medium-ranged Boeing 737s.

The airline operates flights to 40 capitals and cities of Europe, Asia, Africa, and the CIS. It also services connecting flights with routes of its international partners in more than 3,000 cities around the globe. The airline performs around 700 international and domestic flights per week. Its main airport is Kyiv's Boryspil International Airport.
