Bosnia and Herzegovina opens its market for Ukrainian producers of mechanically deboned poultry meat

Bosnia and Herzegovina opened its market for imports of Ukrainian mechanically deboned poultry meat products, the press service of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection said.

"It is critical to support Ukrainian exporters during the war, to create new opportunities for them, because this is support for the economy of our country. Therefore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, together with the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection, are constantly negotiating with foreign partners and step by step opening new foreign markets for Ukrainian producers," Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said.

"A Ukrainian entrepreneur needs any support from the state, which is crucial during the war. And the State Service on Food Safety and Consumer Protection, together with the team of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, continue to open the international trade arena for our manufacturer. There are still about 63 countries in work in almost 200 areas," Head of the department Serhiy Tkachuk said.

The agreed form of the veterinary certificate for the specified category of products is published on the official web portal of the State Service on Food Safety and Consumer Protection in the section "International Cooperation" - "Veterinary Science and Safety" - "Certificates for Export from Ukraine".

The department said the first step for the export of Ukrainian products of animal origin is a request from the market operator to the local agency of the State Service on Food Safety and Consumer Protection.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 41 forms of international veterinary certificates for the export of objects of state veterinary and sanitary control and supervision from Ukraine have been agreed upon, that is, 41 markets have been opened for the export of Ukrainian products, the State Service on Food Safety and Consumer Protection said.
