Mobile boiler houses from UCH and Coca-Cola are already in Lviv region
The Coca-Cola Company and the Ukrainian Red Cross (UCRC) continue to work together to support the people of Ukraine. To the 45 mobile boiler houses provided by the partners to local communities last year 60 more were joined within 2024.
Two new mobile boiler houses are intended for medical facilities in Lviv region. One of them will be installed at the Superhumans, which is a modern centre for prosthetics, reconstructive surgery, rehabilitation and psychological support for adults and children affected by war.
The second heating module was handed over to the hospital in Dobrotvir village community. This is a 500 kW unit that will fully meet the needs of the medical facility.
‘We are very proud of our cooperation with Coca-Cola Ukraine, as it means our energy's independence and the ability to ensure the sustainable operation of the centre. Now Superhumans performs more than 100 highly complex surgeries every month, has 84 beds and more than 70 patients wearing prosthetics. It is important for us to ensure a comfortable stay for patients during recovery and confidence of the medical staff in the smooth operation of the equipment,’ Olga Rudneva, CEO of Superhumans Center said.
Over the past two years, The Coca-Cola Company has invested USD 8.5 million in the purchase of 105 boilers, which will allow heating up to 600,000 square metres of social facilities across Ukraine.
