Coca-Cola, Ukrainian Red Cross Society donate mobile boiler houses to support community in Ivano-Frankivsk region

As part of the cooperation between the Coca-Cola system of companies and the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS), the Burshtyn community of Ivano-Frankivsk region has already received two mobile boiler houses with a capacity of 1 kW each. Two more boiler houses will be delivered in the near future.

Last year, one of the country's key energy facilities was completely destroyed by missile strikes, which led to the cessation of the supply of heat and hot water to the city's residents.

At this critical moment, the city faced a real threat of being left without heat in the winter. Now, thanks to the support of the well-known beverage manufacturer, the community has received equipment that will ensure stable heat supply to social facilities and residential buildings.

"Since March, we have been looking for funds for the construction of boiler houses. This assistance from Coca-Cola and the Ukrainian Red Cross Society is extremely important for us. Mobile boiler houses will provide stable heat where it is most needed - in schools, kindergartens and the residential sector of the community. The boiler houses are fully ready for connection. They will become a reliable support for our social sphere," head of the Burshtyn community Vasyl Andriyeshyn said.

One mobile boiler house is capable of heating about 10,000 square meters of premises. They operate on both natural gas and diesel fuel. Due to their mobility, the units can be easily moved if necessary. The project has been going on for two years. In total, the Coca-Cola System of Companies has invested more than $8.5 million in the purchase of 105 mobile boiler houses that help provide heat in communities throughout Ukraine, including medical, educational and other social institutions.
