USA to ensure supply of critical weapons to Ukraine – Harris
U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris said President Joe Biden and she "stand with Ukraine" and support it.
"President Joe Biden and I stand with Ukraine. We will work to secure critical weapons. The failure to do so would be a gift to Vladimir Putin," she said, speaking at the Munich Security Conference on Friday.
Harris said that two years ago many expected the fall of Ukraine in a few days, but this did not happen thanks to the skill of the Ukrainians, the leadership of Zelenskyy and the coalition of 50 states. Ukraine achieved what no one expected.
The U.S. Vice President said the world has united to defend the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity. She said they forced Russia to bear economic costs, they froze Russian state assets and made it clear that Russia must pay for everything it did in Ukraine.
"America will continue to lead," she said.
