Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal has called on Poland to help coordinate the Ukraine Facility by the European Council, start negotiations on joining the European Union and decisions on Ukraine's membership in NATO.

"Ukraine has three key tasks this year, and we ask Poland," Shmyhal said at a briefing with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Kyiv on Monday.

In particular, it’s about the approval by the European Council of a financial support instrument for Ukraine Facility; the beginning of the negotiation process on joining the European Union; clear decisions at the Washington NATO summit on Ukraine's membership in the Alliance.

Shmyhal also said that the parties discussed many areas of cooperation, which should be mutually beneficial.

"We also urge the European Commission to extend the measures on trade liberalization for Ukraine, as well as the liberalization of transportation," the Prime Minister of Ukraine said.

According to Shmyhal, there are already bills in parliament that bring logistics and transport standards in line with European norms.
