As result of shelling in Sumy region, three people killed, including child

As a result of shelling by Russian troops in the town of Seredyna-Buda, Sumy region, three people were killed, including a seven-year-old child, and three were injured, the regional prosecutor's office reported.

"On November 28, 2023, at about 12:30, using methods of warfare prohibited by international law, the enemy, according to preliminary data, fired at the civilian infrastructure of the city of Seredyna-Buda, Sumy region, with MLRS. As a result of the attack by the invaders, at least five private houses were destroyed, the bodies of two dead women and two wounded men were found under the rubble," the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office said in a statement on its Telegram channel on Tuesday.

Also, according to the prosecutor's office, a civilian and his 7-year-old stepdaughter were injured in their own car. The girl subsequently died in hospital.

Under the procedural leadership of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pretrial investigation is being conducted into violation of the laws and customs of war, involving premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
