URCS volunteers immediately provide aid to victims of missile attack in Odesa

Volunteers of the Emergency response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) provided first aid and psychological assistance to victims of Russia's missile attack on Odesa throughout the night.

"Volunteers of the Emergency response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society in Odesa region provided first aid to the wounded and first psychological aid to the injured all night," the society said on Facebook on Sunday.

Volunteers also helped the State Emergency Service to free a woman from the rubble, who was immediately given first aid.

Some 16 URCS volunteers worked at the site of the liquidation of the consequences of the Russian missile attack.

As reported, on the night of July 23, the enemy attacked Odesa region with five types of missiles, using Kalibr, Oniks, Kh-22 and two modifications of Iskander ballistic missiles, a significant part of them were shot down. It is known about one killed and 22 injured.
