Ukraine continues to fight for such high-profile sanctions as disconnecting all Russian banks from SWIFT, refusing energy from the Russian Federation, closing ports for Russian ships and blocking additional financial opportunities to participate in the international financial market, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has said.

"There are even bigger high-profile sanctions that we are fighting for: this is the disconnection of all Russian banks from SWIFT, and the refusal of energy resources, and the closure of ports, and the blocking of additional financial opportunities to participate in the international financial market. These are big stories that we are struggling with, so far there is no result, to be honest. Moreover, there are countries that are trying in every possible way to avoid the application of sanctions, we press, and I am convinced we will do it, because this is not only in our interests, but also in the interests of European security as a whole," Kuleba said live on Facebook on Thursday.
