Russia plans to transfer to Ukraine units from 102nd Russian military base in Armenia – AFU General Staff

The 21st day of Ukraine's heroic confrontation with the Russian military full-scale invasion is underway, the Russian military leadership plans to transfer some units from the 102nd Russian military base in Armenia to Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.

"Continuing attempts to restore the combat capability of individual units participating in hostilities, the Russian military leadership plans to transfer to the territory of Ukraine some units from the 102nd Russian military base in Armenia. The facts of the refusal of individual military personnel of Russia to participate in hostilities are confirmed, which is due to the low level of moral and psychological state of the Russian occupiers after clashes with the defense forces," the AFU said in Facebook post.

At the point of permanent deployment of the 20th motorized rifle division of the eighth combined arms army of the Southern Military District, about 130 servicemen refused to participate in hostilities.

"Due to the lack of positive results and the inability to fulfill the assigned tasks, it is planned to remove the commander of the 45th separate special forces brigade of the Airborne Forces of the Russian Armed Forces, Colonel Vadim Pankov, from his duties. He is accused of failing to fulfill a combat mission at Hostomel airfield," the General Staff said.

In addition, Russia does not stop creating and distributing by all available information channels, including in the EU and the United States, staged propaganda videos in order to discredit the activities of the military-political leadership and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

It is also noted that in the city of Dzhankoy, on the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, training in local general educational institutions was suspended with their subsequent use to accommodate military personnel of the Russian armed forces arriving in the city.
