Payment of subsidies, benefits, cash benefits in March fully funded - Social Policy Ministry

The Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine says that the payment of subsidies, benefits and cash benefits in March is fully funded.

"In early March, the Ministry of Social Policy transferred funds to all regions in full for the payment of social benefits, benefits and subsidies. The payment of social benefits in most regions was made not only on time, but even before certain dates. If in the usual mode payments were made on the 7th-10th day of each month, then for March of this year the payment started on March 3rd. However, in some cities and districts, due to active hostilities, social protection agencies were not able to work, calculate and pay the appropriate types of benefits. For people from these regions, we have launched a special mechanism for payments at the central level," the press service of the ministry said in a statement.

It is noted that through a special mechanism, people will receive payments in certain cities and districts of the following regions of Donetsk region: Volnovakha, Mariupol districts and the city of Mariupol; Zaporizhia region: Vasylivsky, Polohivsky and Berdyansk districts; Luhansk region: all cities and districts; Kherson region: Henichesk and Kherson within the former Oleshkivsky district, the cities of Nova Kakhovka and Hola Prystan; Sumy region: Akhtyrsky district within the former Trostianetsky district; Kharkiv region: Iziumsky, Kharkiv district of the city of Izium, Kupiansk, Merefa and most districts of the city of Kharkiv; Chernihiv region: part of Novhorod-Siversky and Desnyansky district in the city of Chernihiv; Kyiv region: Vyshgorodsky district within the former Ivankivsky district.

"We remind you that, within the framework of a special mechanism, the payment of cash benefits, and housing subsidies to people from these cities and regions will be carried out by JSC Oschadbank," the statement says.
