Ukrainian Human Rights Commissioner gets over 250 reports of electoral rights violations

Ukrainian Human Rights Commissioner Liudmyla Denisova received 252 reports of electoral rights violations from citizens as of 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, the day of the second round of the presidential election.

"Two hundred phone calls and 52 electronic reports were received between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. A total of 252 reports," the human rights commissioner said on her website.

According to the report, voters complained about irregularities on the lists, in particular, technical errors, mistakes in the name spellings, date of birth and addresses, the most often.

Citizens also complained about refusals to let them vote in the localities where they are registered to stay.

Besides, there were complaints about the absence of access to polling stations for people with disabilities.
