Manher to be transferred to Kyiv's Pechersky District Court for choosing preventive measure in detention form – Sarhan

Suspicion of organizing the murder of Kateryna Handziuk, the activist and adviser to the mayor of Kherson, has been handed over to Chairman of the Kherson Regional Council Vladyslav Manher in Kherson where he resides; he will be taken to Kyiv's Pechersky District Court for choosing a measure of restraint in the form of detention, the prosecutor general's press secretary Larysa Sarhan has said.
"This morning, Deputy Prosecutor General Yuriy Stoliarchuk personally handed the suspicion to Head of the Kherson Regional Council Vladyslav Manher in organizing the contract murder, that is, intentionally unlawful causing death to another person, committed with mercenary motives, ordered by special cruelty, by prior agreement by a group of persons, that is, committing a crime under Part 3 of Article 27, Paragraph 4, Paragraph 6, Paragraph 11, Paragraph 12, Part 2 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine," Sarhan wrote on her Facebook page on Monday.
According to her, a group of procedural leaders of the Prosecutor General's Office and investigators of the SBU left to hand over the suspicion to Kherson.
"The suspicion was handed over at the place of residence of Manher, investigative actions and searches are being carried out. Arrangements will be made for the delivery of a suspect to the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention," the spokeswoman for the prosecutor general said.
Earlier this day, Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko reported that Head of the Kherson Regional Council Vladyslav Manher was served suspicion on organizing the murder of activist, advisor of the mayor of Kherson Kateryna Handziuk (Part 3 of Article 27, Paragraph 4,6, Paragraph 11, 12 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
