Lutsenko submits motion to Rada to bring Opposition Bloc MP Kolesnikov to liability

Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko has submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine a motion agreeing to bring Opposition Bloc member Dmytro Kolesnikov to justice, press secretary of the Prosecutor General Larysa Sarhan has said.

"The investigation has established that Dmytro Kolesnikov, being the chairman of the State Property Agency of Ukraine, abusing his official position, committed certain actions, as a result of which it became possible to alienate real estate objects - the production and laboratory-household corps of the state enterprise 'Research and Design Technology Institute of Pipe Industry named after Y. Osada' in Dnipro with a total area of almost 7,000 square meters," Sarhan wrote on her Facebook page on Friday.

According to her, the motion has already been registered in the apparatus of the Verkhovna Rada.

According to the website of the Ukrainian parliament, Kolesnikov, one of the most disciplined parliamentarians - according to electronic registration he attended 93% of the plenary sessions of the Verkhovna Rada.
