The appeal court of Kyiv has summoned Kroll Associates U.K.LLP and AlixPartners Services U.K. LLP to appear before court in the hearing of the lawsuit filed by Ihor Kolomoisky scheduled for February 21, the court has reported in media.

As reported, Kroll attracted by the authorities of Ukraine in 2017, following the results of the PrivatBank's forensic audit confirmed: the financial institution before its nationalization late 2016 was the object of large-scale and coordinated fraudulent actions, which resulted in losses of at least $5.5 billion.

PrivatBank in December 2017 filed a lawsuit in the High Court of Justice in London against Kolomoisky and Boholiubov, as well as companies Teamtrend Ltd., Trade Point Agro Ltd., Collyer Ltd., Rossyn Investing Corp., Milbert Ventures Inc. and ZAO Ukrtransitservices Ltd., which allegedly belong to them or are under their control.

The plaintiff achieved that the court, as an interim measure, issued a worldwide freezing order for the assets of the former owners of the bank Kolomoisky and Boholiubov and the above-mentioned six companies for the amount of more than $2.5 billion.

Previously, these companies were listed in the decisions of the Pechersky district court of Kyiv made on July 29, 2016, which foresees the arrest of a number of accounts in the Cyprus branch of Ukraine's largest PrivatBank within the investigation of the seizure of refinancing loans issued by the National Bank of Ukraine in the amount of UAH 19 billion.
