Militants destroy civilian houses to create false 'news'
The militants, trying to hide the crimes committed by them in Luhansk region, have mounted a campaign to spread fake messages, the press centre of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) headquarters has reported.
"In particular, there was a false story about how a group of the so-called 'journalists' fell under artillery fire near the occupied village of Frunze. Surely, the hostile propagandists forgot to clarify that the artillery fire was conducted by the militants themselves. They arranged the sham for pro-Russian 'PR people' with the goal of creating the needed TV image and making false TV news," a statement says posted on the official website of the press centre of the ATO headquarters.
"Given the chaotic shelling and inadequate actions of militants, local authorities are considering the possibility of sending children to safe areas," the report says.
