Gerashchenko urges Rada to effectively work to achieve full energy independence

First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Iryna Gerashchenko points out the expediency of strengthening the work of the Verkhovna Rada in order to get full energy independence for Ukraine.

On Tuesday at the meeting of the conciliation board Gerashchenko said that since there were stormy discussions about what had been happening in recent years in the gas sector, this topic required a separate discussion. At the same time, she called on the political forces to find, first and foremost, issues which unite, the press service of the UDAR party said.

"We would like to thank the government, the Foreign Ministry and all the negotiators who conducted the case at the Stockholm court and severed the enslaving gas treaty. We need to work together to ensure Ukraine has full energy independence and also restore the territorial integrity," she said.
