NABU investigating another 7 cases on e-declarations analysis
National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) has launched an investigation of seven criminal proceedings on the basis of the analysis of the information contained in the electronic declarations of officials; information was submitted into the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations on December 7-9. NABU has totally registered ten criminal proceedings on the analysis of e-declarations.
According to the NABU press service, two proceedings were registered upon entering false data by MPs (Article 366-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). One criminal proceeding was registered under illegal enrichment of deputy chairman of the regional council (Part 3 of Article 368-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - illicit enrichment of a person holding particularly responsible position).
Information on another four criminal proceedings was submitted to Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations under illegal enrichment and submitting false data into the electronic declaration by three judges.
Thus, the total number of proceedings registered by NABU detectives upon the analysis of e-declarations is amounted to ten, the NABU said. The first three proceedings were registered on November 17 on the facts of illicit enrichment (two - in respect of people's deputies, one -concerning the representative of the judiciary).
