TV Channel Inter head Benkendorf leaves, replaced by board member Shkuratova

Head of the board of TV Channel Inter Yehor Benkendorf has resigned, replaced by board member Kateryna Shkuratova, according to a statement by the channel.

"Kateryna Shkuratova will be appointed head of TV Channel Inter's board from September 15, 2016. Yehor Benkendorf, who has held this post from 2013, is resigning in connection with personal circumstances," the statement posted on the channel's website reads.

According to the channel, Shkuratova has been working in the television business for 20 years. In addition to a board member, she was also executive producer and headed Ukraine's largest production firm of the Inter Media Group - 07 Production LLC.

Inter is a national TV channel. It started broadcasting on October 20, 1996. It is part of the Inter Media Group. The Group's share in Ukrainian TV during 2015 was 24.4% for the 18+ audience (all Ukraine).

The Inter Media Group runs nine channels: Inter, Inter +, NTN, K1, K2, MEGA, Pixel, Zoom, and Enter-film.
