Russian human rights commissioner Ella Pamfilova believes that former Ukrainian pilot Nadia Savchenko could be transferred to Ukraine after her trial and could be exchanged for Russian citizens Yevgeny Yerofeyev and Alexander Alexandrov, currently held in Ukraine.

"I very much would like the idea of an 'all for all' exchange to be supported in general," Pamfilova told Interfax on Thursday.

"It would be at least some step toward improving relations between our states," she said.

"I very much hope that this will happen. I would like this to happen," Pamfilova said after being asked about the possibility of swapping Savchenko for Yerofeyev and Alexandrov.

"I am visiting Ukrainian citizens who have been detained here all the time. Acting at my request, Mrs. Lutkovska [Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada human rights commissioner Valeriya Lutkovska] is also visiting our citizens. We are doing this all the time. I would like us to have nothing to do at least in this area. I would like us to exchange 'all for all'," she said.
