President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed laws on decentralization in the field of state registration of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, as well as rights to immovable property and their encumbrances, the presidential press service has said.

In particular, Poroshenko approved law No. 835-VIII on amendments to the law of Ukraine on the state registration of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs and some other legislative acts of Ukraine on decentralization in the field of state registration of legal entities, individual entrepreneurs and public organizations, adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on November 26.

The document foresees the transfer of functions to provide administrative services in the sphere of state registration of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs to local self-governance authorities, local state administrations, notaries and accredited subjects.

Amendments to a number of laws are aimed at reforming the system of providing administrative services in these fields of state registration and ensuring its openness and transparency, efficiency and timeliness, a rational minimization of the number of documents and procedural actions, public expenditure.
