Over 120 Ukrainian servicemen receiving treatment after being injured in Donbas – Defense Ministry

As many as 121 Ukrainian military servicemen are currently undergoing treatment and recovery procedures at the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's medical institutions after sustaining injuries in the special operation in Donbas, Defense Ministry spokesman Oleksiy Chornobay said at a news briefing on Friday.

As many as 102 servicemen are undergoing rehabilitation at resort centers. More than 1,500 participants in the special operation have undergone rehabilitative treatment in 2015, he said.

"Thirty-nine injured Ukrainian servicemen are receiving treatment abroad, including 11 in Germany, eight in Hungary, seven in the U.S., three in Romania and Lithuania each, two in Austria, and one in Israel, the United Kingdom, Poland, Slovenia and Belarus each," Chornobay said.

A total of 123 members of the Ukrainian armed forces have received medical treatment abroad since the start of the special operation in Donbas, he said.
