Ukrainian prosecutors work on request to strip some members of Opposition Bloc of parliamentary immunity

The investigation into the case involving some parliamentarians from the Opposition Bloc faction is nearing completion and a request will be made for them to be stripped of parliamentary immunity, Ukraine's Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin said.
"It will definitely happen in the plenary sessions and very soon […] An investigation is underway. The investigation is nearing completion on some areas and some Opposition Bloc deputies. As soon as the investigation is over, there will be a request [for them to be stripped of parliamentary immunity," Shokin told reporters in Kyiv on Saturday.
