Cabinet passes results of official investigation into Crimean electricity contracts to law enforcement

The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has passed to the Interior Ministry, the Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) and the State Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) the results of an official investigation into contracts on the supply of electricity to Crimea between Ukrinterenergo and Russia's Inter RAO, the governmental press service has said.
"The commission for conducting an official investigation has finished work. The information about the commission's work was heard at a meeting of the government. In accordance with the government's decision, the Secretariat of the Cabinet passed the materials of the official investigation to the Interior Ministry, the PGO and the SBU," reads the statement.
As reported, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk ordered an official investigation into the actions of Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry officials and state-owned companies during the signing of contracts on the supply of electricity between Ukrinterenergo and Russia's Inter RAO.
