The Defense Ministry of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine are planning to switch to the use of electronic documents by the end of 2014.

According to the Defense Ministry's press service, the relative categories of users will be educated on the basis of the Ukraine's Ivan Chernyakhovsky National Defense University, and Military Institute of Telecommunication and Informatization of the State Telecommunication University.

"The introduction of the e-document flow will favor the optimization of the work of the military and employees of the Defense Ministry and Armed Forces of Ukraine, will speed up and improve the process of information exchange, the taking of the decisions by the leadership, as well as [improve] cooperation with the executive agencies," the report said.

In future it is planned to extend the e-document flow system and to introduce it at the military units and establishments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
