Parliament fails to appoint Constitutional Court judges
The Verkhovna Rada has failed to appoint any of the five candidates to the post of a judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.
An Interfax-Ukraine reporter said that the head of the parliament's count commission, Hennadiy Zubko, announced the results of a secret ballot at a parliament meeting on Thursday.
Mykola Melnyk collected 207 votes, Serhiy Sas - 216 votes, Ihor Slidenko - 186, Volodymyr Stretovych - 173, and Stanislav Shevchuk - 198 votes of deputies.
