Russian, Ukrainian defense ministers discuss Black Sea Fleet issues

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu met with his Ukrainian counterpart Pavlo Lebedev in Sevastopol on Saturday, the Russian Defense Ministry press service and information department told Interfax-AVN.

"The constructive dialogue of the two defense ministers focused on the bilateral cooperation status and prospects, preparations for the September meeting of the Russian-Ukrainian Interstate Commission's Security Sub-Committee and operation of the Russian Black Sea Fleet stationed in the Crimea," the department said.
