Bolshoi Theater choreographer Sergei Filin has been discharged from the hospital.

"I feel very good. I am full of energy and I am absolutely healthy," Filin told reporters on Monday while being discharged from Moscow's Clinical Hospital No. 36.

Alexander Mitichkin, head doctor of Clinical Hospital No. 36, told Interfax Filin will leave for Germany, where he will continue his treatment, on Monday morning.

"His condition is fair. His temperature is normal. He has been discharged from the hospital," the head doctor said.

In the meantime, Filin said in an interview with Rossiya-24 television he knows who is behind the attack against him.

"My heart knows who did that and I have an answer to this question in my soul. However, it's my ideal, it's my fantasy, and it's now just something I can only think to myself," he said.

"Of course, the person who sprayed me with liquid and the people behind that are very different people. Absolutely. I am confident that the person who was standing opposite me and took that mechanical action was the person who was just told to do that," Filin said.

Filin suffered burns to the face and eyes in an acid attack on January 17. The attack is being investigated on counts of premeditated infliction of bodily injuries. Police link the attack to Filin's professional work. Filin is a renowned ballet dancer. He took his current leading post at the Bolshoi Theater in March 2011.
