Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has signed a decree on some issues of fulfilling tasks and powers imposed on the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and distributed powers between vice premiers.

Under the decree posted on the official Web site of the head of state on Monday, First Vice Premier Serhiy Arbuzov will ensure the fulfillment of tasks and powers in the areas of agrarian policy and food, economic development, trade, social policy, finances, revenues and duties; Vice Premier Yuriy Boiko will ensure the fulfillment of tasks and powers in the spheres of ecology, natural resources, energy, coal industry and industrial policy; Vice Premier Oleksandr Vilkul will ensure the fulfillment of tasks and powers in the areas of infrastructure, regional development, construction, utilities and housing economy.

Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Olena Lukash will ensure general management of the cabinet's secretariat and its head and support the effective operation of the government.

The decree takes effect from the day of its publication.
