Election press center of Regions Party starts work in Kyiv

The election press center of the Regions Party, headed by presidential adviser and parliamentary candidate Hanna Herman, has opened in Kyiv.

"We'll have to meet every day, so I will go on vacation so that my position at the presidential administration has no relation to this [activity]," Herman said at the presentation of the press center in Kyiv on Monday.

According to her, the press center will work until the announcement of official results of the parliamentary elections.

Herman noted that considering the economic crisis, the press center would not hire many employees.

"A minimal number of people will work, for minimal wages," she said.

Herman also said that journalists would be provided with comfortable conditions.

"We are not a poor party, and we'll do everything possible to ensure that journalists work in very comfortable conditions and have the chance to report trustworthy information as soon as possible to their media," she said.

The press center of the Regions Party will, as is traditional, work at the InterContinental Hotel.

"I think that while the Regions Party participates in any elections, the press center will always be located at the InterContinental, as this is a lucky place for us, we always win here, and we'll also try to win the upcoming elections here," Herman said.

The parliamentary elections in Ukraine will be held on October 28, 2012.
