Along the entire frontline, since the beginning of the day and as of 16:00, some 64 combat clashes have been recorded, almost half, 29, are in Pokrovsk axis, where eight battles are still ongoing, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.

"Since the beginning of the day, the total number of combat clashes along the entire front line is 64. The occupiers continue to use aviation and carry out attacks in the east and south of our country, as well as in Kursk region of Russia. The defense forces are holding the lines and taking the necessary measures to prevent a breakthrough of the defense," the General Staff said in a Telegram statement on Monday.

According to the statement, three times since the beginning of the day, the Russians attacked the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kursk axis, carried out 15 air strikes, while dropping 23 UABs on the Russian territory.

It is indicated that the occupiers do not stop using artillery on the territories of the regions bordering Russia. The areas of the settlements of Mykhalchyna-Sloboda and Mkhy in Chernihiv region; Ulanove, Ponomarenky, Starykove and Popivka in Sumy region; Tymofiivka in Kharkiv region came under enemy fire.

It is reported that in Kharkiv axis, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled one enemy assault – near Vovchansk, in Kupiansk two assaults on Petropavlivka and Zahryzove.

According to the report, in Lyman direction, the enemy is attacking in the areas of Nadia, Novoyehorivka, Makiivka and Terny. In total, seven battles have been recorded in this direction since the beginning of the day, one of them is still ongoing. Enemy aircraft in this area carried out UAB strikes on Zeleny Hai, Drobysheve and Zelena Dolyna.

"In Siversk axis, the occupiers tried to advance in the direction of Verkhniokamianske, and were repulsed," the General Staff said.

In Kramatorsk axis, the Defense Forces repelled seven enemy attacks near the town of Chasiv Yar and in the direction of Stupochky, and three battles are currently ongoing. Mykolaivka and Stupochky are under attack from the invaders' aerial bombs.

It is reported that in Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked our troops' positions eight times in the area of ​​the settlements of Toretsk, Krymske and Ozarianivka. The enemy also dropped aerial bombs on Kostiantynivka and Katerynivka.

"Today, in Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders 29 times in the areas of the settlements of Vodiane Druhe, Myroliubivka, Yelyzavetivka, Myrnohrad, Kotlyne, Nadiivka, Andriivka, Shevchenko, Dachne, Ulakly and Yantarne, eight clashes are still ongoing. Pershe Travnia, Troyanda and Pokrovsk were subjected to airstrikes by UABs," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.

In other axes, there have been no significant changes in the situation.
