Authorities report 13 dead, 18 wounded as result of Russian strike on Zaporizhia

Russian troops launched an air strike on an industrial facility in Zaporizhia, 13 dead and 18 wounded are known, Head of the regional military administration Ivan Fedorov said.
"The enemy hit a residential area with two UABs. We currently know of 13 dead. Another 18 wounded people. All the wounded are being taken to hospitals. At least four victims are in serious condition," the administration's head said in a comment to the media.
According to Fedorov, seven medical teams, police officers, and the State Emergency Service's rescuers are working at the site of the strike.
Earlier, it was reported that one person was killed and 30 were injured as a result of the attack on the city by guided bombs.
Tomorrow, January 9, has been declared a day of mourning in Zaporizhia.
