More than 2,700 applications submitted for second wave of REDpreneurUA program – URCS
Over 2,700 applications have been submitted for the second wave of the REDpreneurUA programme, the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) has reported.
“We are pleased to announce that registration for the second group of participants in the REDpreneurUA programme is now closed … The technical processing of applications is currently underway,” URCS said on Facebook Monday.
Once this is complete, selected participants will receive further instructions on the next steps and will develop their social entrepreneurship skills with the support of the Ukrainian Future Business Incubator.
URCS noted that REDpreneurUA is not just about training but also about contributing to Ukraine's economic recovery by supporting entrepreneurship and fostering business initiatives among vulnerable groups of the population.
As reported, the REDpreneurUA program was initiated by the Ukrainian Red Cross in cooperation with the Austrian Red Cross and with the support of the Neighbor in Need Foundation (Austria). Its goal is to provide vulnerable categories of the population with a chance to realize their business ideas and startups, promote economic development and social responsibility.
