We must not allow second or third phase of Russian invasion - Zelenskyy

To stop war in Ukraine, it is necessary to withdraw Russian troops from the Ukrainian territory, and we must not allow a second or third phase of this Russian invasion, said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
When speaking at the UN General Assembly in New York on Wednesday, Zelenskyy said that any alternatives to the Peace Formula "are in fact attempts to achieve truce instead of ending the war."
"We need to withdraw the Russian occupiers, which will put an end to military actions in Ukraine, and we must hold those responsible for war crimes accountable. We need to prevent ecocide and stop the destruction of nature caused by the war, and we must not allow a second or third phase of this Russian invasion. We need to make it clear that the war is over. This is the Peace Formula," the president said.
He stressed that peace is necessary, and it must be real and fair.
"Perhaps someone wants to get a Nobel Prize for freezing instead of real peace, but the only rewards Putin will give you in return are even more suffering and disasters," Zelenskyy said.
He again called for restoring nuclear safety, food security and stressed the need to bring home all Ukrainian captured soldiers and civilians.
"We must comply with the UN Charter and guarantee our right, Ukraine's right to territorial integrity and sovereignty, as we do for any other country," the president said.
