Forced evacuation of children introduced in 13 settlements of Donetsk region – Reintegration Ministry

The participants of the Coordination Headquarters for the mandatory evacuation of the population under martial law decided to forcibly evacuate children from 13 settlements of Donetsk region due to the security situation, the Ministry of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories reports.

"The members of the Coordination Staff unanimously supported the mandatory forced evacuation of children with their parents or other legal representatives from certain settlements of Donetsk region," the message published on the Telegram channel says.

Evacuation will be carried out from 13 settlements of Pokrovsk and Kramatorsk districts of Donetsk region to safe regions. It is planned to be held within 60 days, and a reception center has been deployed to carry out the evacuation.

In turn, head of the Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, said that at a meeting of the regional commission on Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergency Situations of Donetsk region, they also "decided to forcibly evacuate children from settlements close to the contact line by 10 kilometers."

On August 4, Filashkin reported that 744 children and their families were planning to forcibly evacuate from four communities of Donetsk region using armored vehicles.
