DTEK repairs 21 out of 27 thermal power units planned for repair in 2023

The DTEK Energy company has completed the planned repair of the next, 21st power unit of the thermal power plants, the repair of which was planned for 2023.

"The power unit is already in operation, holding a load of 80 MW, with plans to increase it to 125 MW in the near future. This will strengthen the balancing capacity of thermal generation and allow the power system to more stably pass peaks in electricity consumption," the company said in a release on Monday.

It is noted that power engineers continue to do everything possible to maintain reliable operation of the energy system and, as a result, light and heat in the homes of Ukrainians in conditions of sharp cold weather, bad weather and enemy shelling.

As reported, in total, in 2023, DTEK plans to carry out repairs at 27 power units, investments in which will amount to about UAH 3.9 billion.
