The general meeting of heads of participants of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) held on May 8, 2018 in Baku approved acting Board Chairman of public joint-stock company Ukrzaliznytsia Yevhen Kravtsov a member of the board of the association of legal entities - the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route international association.

The press service of Ukrzaliznytsia reported that all nine members of the association's board backed the decision.

Kravtsov was approved member of the TITR Board under an agreement saying that Ukrzaliznytsia joined the association as permanent member. The agreement was signed on April 2, 2018.

TITR is aimed at the implementation of the "Economic belt of the Silk Road" initiative on the China-Kazakhstan-Azerbaijan-Georgia-Ukraine-European countries route, using ferry crossings through the ports of the Black and Caspian Seas.
