State Fiscal Service budget raised by 45% in 2018

The budget of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine (SFS) in 2018 has been increased by 45% compared to the current year's figures, with 51% of the budget to be used to increase the salaries of SFS employees, the finance minister's adviser, Yana Buhrimova, has said.

"In 2018, the average salary in the SFS will grow from UAH 12,000 (UAH 10,000 in the regions, UAH 12,000 in the central office) to UAH 21,000, including bonuses," she said at a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.

Speaking about the results of the SFS activities, she also noted the unsatisfactory coverage of the agency's electronic services - 40% of SFS services are provided via the Internet, while the world's average figure reaches 60%.

"In the world, on average, 20% of initial appeals to such an agency are made through the call center, whereas in Ukraine this figure is 2%," she said.

At the same time, 15% of all SFS employees are auditors, while in the world this figure reaches a third, since audit is the main activity of the tax service, Buhrimova said.
