PJSC Ukrposhta in January-June 2017 posted a net loss of UAH 359.82 million in accordance with international financial reporting standards (IFRS) against UAH 18.79 million in net profit for the same period last year, reads a company quarterly report in the information disclosure system of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission.

Taking into account the data previously released by the company, in the second quarter of this year Ukrposhta saw a net loss of UAH 121.8 million, while in the second quarter of last year it saw a net profit of UAH 3.6 million.

According to the report, its net income for the first half of 2017 increased by 2.4% in comparison with the same period last year, to UAH 2.207 billion.

Ukrposhta said revenues from universal postal services in January-June 2017 increased by 17.8%, to UAH 552.25 million, those from pension payment and delivery by 3.7%, to UAH 592.61 million, from the sale of goods by 6.3%, to UAH 52.18 million. In addition, commission fees increased by 46.7%, to UAH 122.7 million, revenues from other services by 13.5%, to UAH 569.43 million.

At the same time, revenues from postal services decreased by 34%, to UAH 317.63 million.
