Government appoints new board of Ukrzaliznytsia proposed by new Ukrzaliznytsia head

Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers has appointed the new board of public joint-stock company Ukrzaliznytsia proposed by the new board chairman Wojciech Balczun.
The new board presented by First Deputy Infrastructure Minister Yevhen Kravtsov at a government meeting includes Manager of PKP Cargo Marek Zalesny, CFO of Ukrzaliznytsia Oleksandr Buzhor, Head of PKP PLK Remigiusz Paszkiewicz and HR Specialist Zeljko Marcek who worked in international media companies.
Kravtsov said that Zalesny, born in 1963, was a manager of Polish railway company PKP Cargo. He took part in reforming the company in 2007-2013.
"Remigiusz Paszkiewicz is also a citizen of Poland, one of the key reformers of another company - PKP PLK (PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A). He conducted effective reforms in 2010-2013 and brought the company to profit-making," Kravtsov said.
Presenting Zeljko Marcek, he said that he is a HR specialist. He worked in Star Media and recently he participated in the staff reforms at Nova Poshta.
"Today's CFO of Ukrzaliznytsia Oleksandr Buzhor has large experience of work in Ukrainian financial and transport structures. He was financial director of Naftogaz Ukrainy's subsidiaries [Kharkivtransgaz, Ukrtransgaz], Kravtsov said.
Kravtsov asked to remove Safety Director at Ukrzaliznytsia Serhiy Ozeran from the list of candidates to board members. This candidate was not agreed by Balczun.
