Ukrtatnafta won't take part in auctions to sell Ukrainian oil until AMC investigation over

PJSC Ukrtatnafta (Kremenchuk oil refinery, Poltava region) will abstain from participating in auctions on the sale of Ukrainian oil and gas condensate until the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMC) completes the consideration of the case on holding auctions.

"It should be noted that Ukrtatnafta does not refuse the processing of Ukrainian oil. The company offers the owners and buyers of this oil the services for its processing at Kremenchuk oil refinery," reads a report on the website of the enterprise.

As reported, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine opened a case against Ukrtatnafta for the submission of not full information to the committee. The committee is conducting an investigation into the case on the grounds of violation of the legislation on economic competition protection on the part of PJSC Ukrtatnafta, Halychyna oil refinery, Galnafta LLC, Prykarpattianaftotrade, Kotlas, Polygonal, Garant-UTN in the form of anticompetitive concerted actions relating to distortion of the results of auctions for the sale of crude oil and gas condensate.

Ukrtatnafta considers the accusations to be unfounded. The company stated that in 2015 it received 19 requests from the AMC and gave answers in the allotted statutory period.
