Gas stocks in Ukraine's underground facilities reach 11.5 bcm

Natural gas stocks held in the underground storage facilities of Ukraine have increased to 11.5 billion cubic meters (bcm), the press service of public joint-stock company Ukrtransgaz reported on Monday.

The press service said that since the start of the pumping season gas stocks have grown by 3.9 bcm, including on June 21 – by 1.265 bcm.

According to tentative information, the daily gas pumping volume as of Monday morning was 55 million cubic meters.

Ukrtransgaz, which is 100% owned by Naftogaz Ukrainy, operates a system of trunk pipelines and 12 underground storage facilities in Ukraine.
