Talks with IMF mission tense, mission work prolonged until Feb 11, says Shymkiv

Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Dmitry Shymkiv has confirmed that negotiations between the Ukrainian authorities with the IMF mission are tense, and that the mission has prolonged its work until Wednesday, February 11.

"Cooperation with the IMF continues. There are many questions on reforms in the memo and negotiations with the IMF – energy, finances, regulation of many social and economic issues. The implementation of the new program will last for four years. The talks are rather tense – they are being held 24 hours a day. The mission prolonged its work until February 11," he said, at a briefing on Tuesday in Kyiv.
