Budget revenue from sale of state and municipal parcels of land would be UAH 590 mln in 2014

Ukraine would receive over UAH 590 million from sale of parcels of non-farmland in state and municipal ownership and leasing rights to parcels of land in 2014, which is UAH 199.4 million or 1.5 times up on 2013, the press service of the State Agency for Land Resources has reported.

The press service said that some 2,648 parcels of non-farmland in state and municipal ownership on which immovable property is located with a gross area of 658.89 hectares worth UAH 590.1 million were sold, which is 407 parcels of land more than in 2013.

Local self-government agencies sold 2,579 parcels of land in municipal ownership with a gross area of 620.45 hectares for UAH 582.4 million. State power agencies sold 665 ownership rights, which is 440 or almost three times more than in 2013.

Rent rates paid in 2014 reached UAH 76.5 million or 4.3 times more than in 2013.

"Today UAH 524.9 million (taking into account payments in installments) have been sent to the budgets from the sale of parcels of land and leasing rights, including UAH 17.4 million to the national budget of Ukraine and UAH 507.5 million to local budgets," reads the report.

A total of 192 parcels of non-farmland in state and municipal ownership with a gross area of 36.82 hectares were sold at tenders for UAH 38.82 million in 2014.

Leasing rights to 665 parcels of land with a gross area of 8,735 hectares were also sold at tenders, and the rent rates for them amounts to UAH 18.7 million. In 2014 it was sold 113 parcels more than in 2013.
