Austria plans to finance construction of housing for 500 persons displaced from Donbas, says foreign ministry
Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin and Federal Minister for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs Sebastian Kurz have discussed the situation in Ukraine, in particular, the possibility of providing aid to persons displaced from the eastern part of Ukraine.
"As a part of the visit [on January 23-24 to Austria] negotiations with Federal Minister for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs Sebastian Kurz were held. The situation in Ukraine was discussed. The sides have the common view that the process of peacefully settling the situation in Ukraine requires new impulses. The ceasefire, the holding of a meeting of the trilateral contact group and the full-scale realization of Minsk documents was emphasized," the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine’s press service reported.
"Austria said that the country plans to finance the construction of temporary houses for 500 persons displaced from Donbas, and [will] participate in other projects to help civilians in Ukraine," reads the report.
