Some 486.3 ha of non-farmland worth UAH 512.9 mln sold at auctions in Ukraine, says agency

A total of 2,016 non-farmland plots in state and municipal ownership with a total area of 486.26 hectares worth UAH 512.9 million was sold in January-October 2014 in Ukraine at auctions, according to the State Agency for Land Resources of Ukraine.

In money terms sales of non-farmland plots over the period grew by 2.4 times: a total 1,370 plots with a total area of 428.6 hectares (a rise of 13.2%) worth UAH 215.4 million were sold in January-October 2013 (a rise of 47.2%).

As of November 27, 2014, 901 land plots with a gross area of 15,773 hectares and 507 leasing rights to land with a gross area of 5,534 hectares have been prepared for sale at auctions, the agency said.

According to the agency, in January-October 2014, 141 land plots of state and municipal ownership with a gross area of 25.1 hectares worth UAH 28.67 million were sold at land auctions.

According to the report, over the period leasing rights to 368 land plots with a gross area of 1,316 hectares, the annual fee for which totals UAH 9.9 million, were sold.

Revenues to the budgets grew by 0.6% or UAH 2.4 million, to UAH 415.6 million, including UAH 404.8 million sent to the local budgets and UAH 10.8 million to the national budget.
