Ukrinterenergo plans to raise UAH 80 mln credit line

Ukrinterenergo state foreign economic operation enterprise (Kyiv) has announced a tender to open a renewable credit line with a limit of UAH 80 million, according to announcement posted on the state procurement portal.

The company said that the credit funds will be raised for one year.

Bids can be submitted by July 29, 2014 and they will be opened on the same day.

The funds will be raised to replenish working capital, including financing of credit liabilities, the formation of the financial guarantees and the fulfillment of other liabilities, including payments for electricity, gas, coal and fuel oil bought.

As reported, only state enterprise Ukrinterenergo is able to buy electricity on the Ukraine wholesale electricity market from June 1, 2014 to supply it to the occupied territories of Crimea, according to cabinet resolution No. 148 of May 7, 2014.

Ukrinterenergo controls Kalush combined power heat plant and is engaged in the construction and reconstruction of power facilities in Ukraine and abroad.

Ukrinterenergo earlier also supplied electricity to all of the countries bordering Ukraine, and was the largest exporter of Ukrainian electricity.
