By the end of 2013 the state-run enterprise Ukrposhta plans to introduce a project on the provision of administrative services to the public in all of its departments, Ukrposhta Director General Oksana Plotnikova has said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.

"Today, all 658 postal departments in Dnipropetrovsk region [where the pilot project is being realized] provide access to administrative services. Similar projects have been started in all of the regions. By the end of 2013, in all 14,500 branches and departments all over Ukraine the project will be realized in full," she said.

In October 2012 a joint pilot project of Dnipropetrovsk Regional Administration and Ukrposhta entitled "Administrative Services: Relaxed Access via Postal Departments" was launched. It foresees the possibility of citizens receiving some administrative services via postal departments using the single window principle.

Ukrposhta is the national postal operator of Ukraine according to a cabinet resolution of January 10, 2002.

State enterprise Ukrposhta is subordinated to the Infrastructure Ministry. It provides around 50 types of services in 14,000 departments across Ukraine.
