Parliament passes law on prolongation of legalization of illegal construction until 2014
The Ukrainian parliament has passed a law foreseeing the prolongation of the commissioning of facilities and houses built without permits until December 31, 2013.
A total of 238 lawmakers supported the government's draft law No. 11252 on amendments to some Ukrainian laws on the regulation of town planning on Tuesday.
The law says that the commissioning of private houses, garden cottages, dachas, buildings adjacent to the cottages and public buildings built in the period from August 5, 1992 to March 12, 2011 and social houses, buildings and agricultural facilities of first and second categories of difficulty built before March 12, 2011 will be legalized.
The law also foresees the reduction of terms of obtaining permits for construction work, in particular, the terms for obtaining town-planning conditions and restrictions for building on land plots, will be cut from 10 to 7 days.
The law retains the right to carry out preparatory and construction work during a change of owners or constructors general without the repeated registration of permits. The technical conditions of the project are also not to be re-registered.
The settling of issues of amending detailed plans of territories outside settlements and administrative responsibly for construction works without permit starting from facilities of the fourth category of difficulty (now the fine of 600-700 non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens (UAH 17) is imposed on all facilities up to the fifth category of difficulty).
