The Verkhovna Rada called on the parliaments and governments of foreign countries, international organizations and parliamentary assemblies to take an active part in the implementation of the Peace Formula of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Corresponding draft resolution No. 11019 on the Verkhovna Rada's Appeal to parliaments and governments of foreign states, international organizations and parliamentary assemblies in connection with the second anniversary of the full-scale armed invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine and the 10th anniversary of the opposition of the Ukrainian people to armed aggression by Russia was supported by 309 MPs at the plenary meeting of the Ukrainian parliament on Friday, member of the European Solidarity faction Oleksiy Honcharenko said on the Telegram channel.

"The Verkhovna Rada... on behalf of the Ukrainian people calls on the governments and parliaments of foreign states, international organizations and parliamentary assemblies to take an active part in the implementation of the Peace Formula of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy; to consolidate the efforts of all partners of Ukraine to increase assistance to the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine in certain types of weapons and military equipment, in particular, modern tanks, aircraft, long-range missiles, electronic warfare equipment, in order to repulse armed aggression of the Russian Federation, and to bring closer the victory of the Ukrainian state in a defensive war against the aggressor state," the Verkhovna Rada statement says.

MPs also called on Ukraine's partners to increase sanctions pressure on the Russian Federation, ensure unconditional compliance with sanctions against the Russian Federation, and also accelerate the development and implementation of legal mechanisms for the confiscation and use of frozen Russian assets.
